What's up, folks? I've always had a slight interest in motorcycles... but for some reason a few months ago... got really interested. Decided I'd take an MSF course and purchase a bike. Had my heart set on a sport bike (namely the Yamaha FZ6R). I walked into the local dealership here in the Jackson, MS area and saw that the only FZ6R they had available had a little pink accent around the black flames on it. Needless to say I didn't want any pink on my motorcycle. As I was leaving, I saw this guy getting on a Midnight Warrior. I told him it was a fine bike. He asked if I wanted to buy it. Three to four weeks later here I am with a 2007 Midnight Warrior. I believe he's a member of this forum....

Pretty much nailed it, as a 30,000 mile owner of an '09 FatBob. I cdertainly like mine quite a lot, but it needed to be raised for my liking, had to have the mid controls and very most definitely the engine needed some major work to get some serious (for a cruiser
) power out of the engine room. Still, the brakes are only just okay for my liking. Raised, it is more than a match for Warriors on very tight twisty roads. On high speed turns, which for me are turns in full lean that are above 50 mph..... the frame of the Fat Bob causes (for me) truly scary and squirly "handling", in that realm it is no match for a Warrior ridden by equally skilled riders.
